Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy

Scopes requested

  • gmail.readonly — read messages and metadata to identify billing receipts and subscription emails.
  • userinfo.email, userinfo.profile, openid — verify the connected Google account.

Limited use

AutoBill IQ's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • Gmail data is used only to detect subscriptions and provide user-facing insights inside AutoBill IQ.
  • Gmail data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features, comply with law, or as part of a merger/acquisition where this policy continues to apply.
  • Gmail data is not used for advertising.
  • Human reading of Gmail data only occurs with explicit user consent, for security purposes (e.g. abuse investigation), or when required by law.

Data retention & deletion

Raw email bodies are processed in-memory during scans and not persisted. Only derived data (merchant name, amount, cycle, dates) is stored. Disconnect Gmail or delete all data at any time from Settings. You may revoke access at Google Account permissions.
